I've been using S1 Pro since it fist came out years ago. Over the years my interests changed from live performance recording, mixing, mastering and CD production to Film and TV production mixing (capturing talent dialog). Occasionally I need to do post multi-track audio editing using the original BWF files from my on-set recorder. To do this work I need S1 to have the ability to manage SMPTE Timecode, Trackname (MixL, MixR, Boom1, Lav1, Lav2, Lav3, etc.) and other meta data from imported polywave broadcast wave format files (.BWF) that come from my Sound Devices production recorder. The standard DAW for this kind of work is Pro Tools, but AVID, Premiere, Nuendo, and Cubase are also used as they all handle SMPTE Timecode and other metadata properly. Will S1 ever have this ability?

I use the Stretch Factor feature a lot in Impact in Studio One 3. Don't want to upgrade if its not in version 4.

I am trying to update Studio One 3 from 3.3.3.41198 to 3.5.6.46910. But the download is failing every time. Any suggestions?

As I thought it would be possible I tried to hold shift and clicked on the on/off button but nothing happend of course. Would be nice if one could bypass the plugin this way quick and efficient without dropouts like disabling it.

I am a new user to this hardware and software and facing a trouble in recording my instrument, Casio Digital Piano (Celviano - AP 250BN).

I am using an Audio Box 96 with Studio 4 coected to my HP Laptop Windows 7 64 Bit, with the midi cable coected to my Piano.

When I am playing/recording the notes, I am getting very thrash distorted sound of my instrument. I have tried the same with different inputs and output systems, different midi cables and instrument cables.

Seeking your Help & Assistance on the Same.

it would be advantageous in many cases to be able to make a chael safe from recall on a scene change, when only recalling chael information and not global Geq etc. Across all platforms. Or Ai up minimum.

It would eliminate the slight pause as a scene is being recalled, making it easier in theatre and churches as nearly all other platforms have this facility in place.
